A HIT IN FIJI Mika Endo 06.06.18
Last year we made fifty bags for Yves Behar and his friends who were going to Fiji. This year, instead of making the bags we decided to join them on the surf mission. Lucky for us, we hit the biggest swell in 10+ years. No sponsors, no competition, no need to get the best shot, just riding for fun. All pictures by Yves Behar (who may have found his new calling as a surf photographer). Laurie Towner Ramon Navarro Marcos Mafia
We saved 10,020
yards of sails
from the landfill.
Yesterday, with Adam Savage, we released one of the best bags we’ve ever made.
This sail-based, NASA-inspired utility bag is the result of a long process of materials, design, and community coming together.
We made Adam a few little things that he uses every day, but he was dreaming of the perfect bag...
People often ask if our bags are made for kitesurfers. They're not. They're made for people who look at our bags and say, " Great bag!" Are they made for people who care about the environment? We hope so, but our first priority is to make a great product. To us, the whole point of upcycling is to create something better.
